Financial Analyst – On Contract for one (1) year


The Consultant will be required to:

  1. Consolidate and analyze financial data, taking into account the corporate strategic objectives and financial standing.
  2. Accurately and efficiently produce financial reports including monthly, quarterly and annual results, strategic plans and adhoc reports.
  3. Develop financial models, projections and conduct benchmarking, process and cost benefit analysis.
  4. Collaborate with working units such as the Data Analysis team, Finance Department, Business Development Officers and Business Analysts to guide financial planning and analysis for clients and the Corporation’s core business.
  5. Assist with the design and management of the Special Technical Assistance (STA) programmes.
  6. Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
  7. Analyze investment trends and make recommendations based on developments.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and either possess or be in the final stages of completing a recognized accounting qualification (i.e. ACCA, CPA etc.).
  • At least three (3) years post first degree working experience in a related finance role.

Other Requirements

  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to work accurately under time pressure.
